BASF Lifts Force Majeure on TDI

March 9, 2018

March 9, 2018

Dear Valued Customer,

As referenced in a letter dated January 31, 2018, BASF declared force majeure on TDI and TDI
containing blends due to extended periods of severe weather and freezing temperatures as well as
the inability to secure raw materials required to resume normal operations. Following recovery from
weather related damage and resumption of steady raw material supply, BASF has been able to return
to normal operations at the Geismar, LA TDI plant. As a result, effective March 9, 2018, BASF is lifting
its announced force majeure with respect to all Lupranate® TDI based products.

Your BASF account manager will be in contact with you to discuss the status of current and future orders.
We appreciate your patience and understanding through this situation.
