Just heard today that Bill passed late last year . . . a good man that poured a lot of foam over the years . . . ate a lot of meals with him at that diner in Bridgeview, IL

Obituary

 

William K. Walker (Butch), 68, of Orland Park, Illinois passed away Thursday, November 6, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital in Richmond, Virginia after a long battle with cancer.
Born in Morganton, NC he was the son of William and Ollie Smith Walker Butler. William attended school in Mooresville and served in the U.S. Army. He was employed in the foam industry and received the name of "foam dude" due to his many years of service and accomplishments. At the time of his death he was employed with Carpenter, Inc. in Richmond Va.
Survivors include his wife Gail, daughter Rhonda Walker; son David Allen (Marzena); step-son Rocco Rado; sisters Shirley Smith Maddox, and Sue Walker Gamble (Lawrence) and brother Sammy Hartsell (Pam); six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Otis (Skeeter) Walker.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 15th at 11:00 am at the Southside Baptist Church, Mooresville, NC.
