Mearthane achieves ISO 9001:2008 registration highlighting product development focus

Mearthane Products Corp., a provider of thermoset polyurethane parts for use in ATMs and other devices has highlighted formulation and product design in its latest ISO 9001: 2008 conformance registration.

The newly acquired registration focuses on Mearthane’s design and manufacture of customized urethane formulations for specialized banking, office automation, industrial and consumer applications worldwide.

According to a press release, MPC has “significantly” strengthened its urethane formulation and product development capabilities, over the past five years. The company holds more than 20 patents relating to unique urethane formulations and applications.

Company chemists oversee the production of specialized products — including a wide range of conductive urethane solids, microcellular foams, specialized solid urethane parts and dual- and triple-layer cast parts — in a highly controlled manufacturing process, the release said.
