BASF Announces Polyol Increase

Dear Valued Customer,

Effective November 1, or as contracts allow, BASF Corporation is raising the price for all
Pluracol® Polyol products by $0.07 per pound. This increase will be in addition to any of the
previously announced increases. Purchases can be limited to the average of the previous 3
months purchases.

Your BASF Account Manager will provide details of this announced increase and is available to
answer any questions you may have. We appreciate your continued support of BASF Urethane
Chemicals.
