“With this investment, we further reinforce our position as a manufacturer of polyisocyanates used for crosslinking two-component PU coatings,” said Ulf Neidlein, Vice President responsible for the resins and additives business in Europe. “This is our way of responding to the increasing demand of our customers for specialties in the field of aliphatic polyisocyanates and strengthening our delivery reliability.”

In addition, BASF said it offers a broad portfolio of binders, light stabilisers and formulation additives for two-component polyurethane coatings that combine optimally with Basonat hardeners.
