Wanhua Chemical TDI plant maintenance and Fujian Phase II production announcement

According to Wanhua Chemical’s announcement: The company’s subsidiary, BorsodChem zrt. MDI (400,000 tonnes/year), TDI (250,000 tonnes/year) and other integrated devices and related supporting devices will be shut down for maintenance from July 23, 2025. As of August 18, the shutdown and maintenance of the above-mentioned TDI devices has been completed and normal production has resumed; The MDI device will be announced separately after the resumption of production.

According to the annual maintenance plan, the company’s TDI plant (300,000 tonnes/year) and related supporting devices in Yantai Industrial Park will be suspended for maintenance starting from August 19, 2025, and the maintenance is expected to last for about 40 days.

The company’s new TDI phase II plant (360,000 tonnes/year) in Fujian Industrial Park has recently been completed and put into operation, and has produced qualified products.
