The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) will be holding Brake Safety Week this year from September 15-21.

When CVSA held an unannounced one-day brake-focused inspection blitz throughout the United States and Canada on May 15, it resulted in 10,358 inspections. Of those inspections, 16% of the vehicles were placed out of service. Imagine the number of trucks that will be placed out of service within an entire week!

Now is the time to plan your freight ahead for Brake Safety Week. Reduced capacity or delays caused by non-compliant drivers or faulty equipment will add days to your supply chain.
