ARLINGTON, TX – May 19, 2015 – Demilec, one of North America’s largest manufacturers of spray foam insulation and polyurea products, has named Paul Valle as new Chief Executive Officer and William McMillian as new Vice President of Spray Foam Products.

Paul Valle to Lead Demilec’s Market Share Growth in North America

Valle will lead Demilec’s efforts to gain additional market share in the United States and Canada, as well as the brand’s increased focus on developing products for a variety of niche vertical industries.

“Paul is an accomplished, results-driven and passionate leader with more than 25 years of experience in the manufacturing and building products industry. He has a very impressive track record in growing companies by focusing on operational excellence and continuous improvement to drive cost and quality competitiveness and increase customer satisfaction,” said Rick Brown, Managing Director of Demilec at Sun Capital.

Valle’s industry experience includes serving as President of CertainTeed Corporation’s Insulation Group, where he successfully navigated the company through the dramatic new construction market slowdown. Additionally, he was President of Silver Line Building Products, the vinyl windows and doors division of Andersen Corporation.

He succeeds Zain Mahmood, who was enlisted by Demilec’s owners in 2013 to re-energize the brand, build a new leadership team and identify new markets for growth.

“I look forward to capitalizing on the foundation for growth laid by Zain and working with the executive team to continue to build on the momentum and positive energy created in recent years,” said Valle.

William McMillian to Further Advance the Spray Foam Insulation Company's Production and Profitability

In this position, McMillian will work to drive growth and profitability in Demilec’s core business of building insulation.

“As our spray foam products continue to be a proven energy-efficient, eco-friendly solution for homeowners and businesses, the demand for our product is increasing rapidly. With his well-rounded leadership experience, William will take charge of this growing market by shaping product growth to influence value and profitability,” said Paul Herrera, Director of Marketing at Demilec.

With more than 15 years’ experience in business development and leadership, McMillian was most recently Senior Director of National Accounts and Business Development at MSC Industrial Supply Company, one of the largest retailers of industrial products in the U.S. He’s also held leadership positions at General Electric, the multinational appliance corporation, for over 15 years.

McMillian received a bachelor’s degree in management and systems engineering from the United States Military Academy, West Point. He also earned an MBA and several executive certifications from MIT and Northwestern University. McMillian proudly served his country as a Logistics Officer in the United States Army.
