US group Dow Chemical has opened a polyurethane service center in Codlea, Brasov county in Central Romania, to serve clients from Romania, Bulgaria and the rest of the Balkan countries.
The group is operating through its division Dow Poliuretan.
The center will provide personalized technical services, including product demos, prototype development and mechanical testing of finished products. It will also offer training for clients and will have storage capacities for polyurethane systems.
Dow has been present in Romania for more than 25 years. It officially inaugurated its first representation in Bucharest in 1990. Its local operations grew after the group acquired the Rohm and Haas company in 2009.
