Indian Polyol Duty
PUdaily, Shanghai- On Apr.7, India Government of India Ministry of Finance finally issued the notification of imposing anti-dumping for a period of five years against flexible slabstocks polyols (FSP) of molecular weight 3000 to 4000 originating in or exported from Australia, EU and Singapore .
On July 12, 2013, Designated Authority issued a public notice for initiating anti-dumping investigation on the basis of sufficient prima facie evidence submitted by Manali Petrochemicals Ltd., the applicant on behalf of the domestic industry. The investigation was originally completed on July 11, 2014 but extended till Jan. 11, 2015 as requested by Designated Authority.
Finally, definitive antidumping duty as per amount specified in the table below is to be imposed on Apr.7 2015.
Flexible slabstocks polyols, as a kind of polyether polyols, is used to make foam that can be found in upholstery furniture, mattress, pillows, auto cushions and packaging.
