Lanxess Raising Prepolymer, Polyol, and Curative Prices

With immediate effect the Urethane Systems business unit of specialty chemicals company LANXESS increases prices for its products as follows:

Americas:
·    Adiprene / Vibrathane and other urethane prepolymers will rise by up to US$ 0.90/kg, depending on the product grade
·    Vibracure and other urethane curatives will rise by up to US$ 0.50/kg, depending on the product grade
·    Fomrez polyester polyols will rise by US$ 0.33/kg

EMEA:
·    Adiprene / Vibrathane and other urethane prepolymers will rise by up to EUR 0.80/kg, depending on the product grade
·    Vibracure and other urethane curatives will rise by up to EUR 0.50/kg, depending on the product grade

APAC:
·    Adiprene / Vibrathane and other urethane prepolymers will rise by up to US$ 1.73/kg, depending on the product grade
·    Vibracure and other urethane curatives will rise by up to US$ 0.8/kg, depending on the product grade

These price increases are driven by a continued rise of raw material costs.
