SOCMA Names Jennifer Abril
New Association President

Good afternoon SOCMA members!

On behalf of the SOCMA Board of Governors, we are delighted to announce our new CEO and President, Jennifer Abril. Her first day will be Monday, October 24, 2016.

Jennifer comes to us most recently from the International Fragrance Association, where she was President and Executive Director since 2008. Prior to that, she worked two years for SOCMA and seven years for the American Chemistry Council. She has a BA degree in International Service from The American University and a Master’s degree in Business Management from The University of Maryland.

She is extremely excited to rejoin SOCMA and, we believe, will be an excellent addition as we move the organization forward and continue to build on the already strong staff and programs that serve our members so well.

Please join us in welcoming Jennifer to the SOCMA team. Hopefully you will be able to meet her in person and welcome her to the SOCMA team at the upcoming Committee Week in November and/or at the Annual Meeting and Dinner in December.
