Wanhua Coatings Project

PUdaily, Shanghai-Wanhua Chemical (Guangdong) Co., Ltd has completed the I phase of Gaolan project located in Zhuhai, Guangdong province by end of this July, including 100 kt/year waterborne surface material resin and 40 kt/year polyurethane (PU) adhesive for PU resin together with composite film. Coupled with the II phase including the same production capability, it will play an important role in industries such as architectural coatings, synthetic leather as well as textile printing and dyeing.

Wanhua Chemical (Guangdong) Co., Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Wanhua Chemical Group with the registered capital at RMB 200 million yuan, and covers an area of 333,335 square meters. It focuses on the business in south China and targets at Southeast Asia market. Besides, this site is home to logistics, manufacturing and technical support of Wanhua Chemical in south China.

The product from the Zhuhai plant is 100% water-borne surface material, a perfect substitution for traditional oil solvent products. Wanhua is the earliest one doing waterborne coating in China.
