Dow Demonstrates “Innovating for You” at CPI 2015

New technologies, including Innovation Award Finalist, will be on display.

MIDLAND, MICHIGAN: Wednesday, September 02, 2015

Dow Polyurethanes will use its presence throughout the CPI Technical Conference 2015 in Orlando, Florida from October 5-7, to show how it brings together the three pillars of science, technology and expertise to provide customized, high-performance solutions that benefit society and improve sustainability around the world.

"Polyurethane chemistry is among the most versatile in the world," said Chris Chrisafides, commercial vice president, Dow Polyurethanes. "So there are endless opportunities to point our science toward discoveries and innovations that advance health, safety, comfort, energy efficiency and durable infrastructure. We accelerate progress when we connect our expertise closer to customers and the entire value chain – so CPI offers an ideal forum to put a multitude of challenges, opportunities and solutions on the table."

Dow will be involved in all aspects of this year's event, including a plenary speech where Tom Feige, CPI technical conference committee chair and director of strategic initiatives for Dow Polyurethanes, will deliver a vision for the industry and how the role of CPI helps advance innovation and growth. His speech will take place during the Opening Session on Monday, October 5.

Dow's VORASTAR™ 7000 Polyurethane Spray Elastomer System is also being recognized as one of three finalists for the Polyurethane Innovation Award this year. The three finalists will present their technologies to attendees during the opening session as part of the final voting process. Last year, Dow won the award for its TERAFORCE™ technology, which was developed in partnership with Preferred Sands.
