BASF Increasing Prices on Polyetheramines
BASF to increase prices for select polyetheramines in North America
FLORHAM PARK, NJ, July 1, 2021 – Effective July 10, 2021 or as existing contracts permit, BASF will increase its prices in North America for select polyetheramines sold under the brand name Baxxodur®.
Product Price Increase
Polyetheramine D230 (Baxxodur EC 301) $0.15 / lb.
Polyetheramine D2000 (Baxxodur EC 303) $0.19 / lb.
Polyetheramine T403 (Baxxodur EC 310) $0.16 / lb.
Under the brand name Baxxodur, BASF markets a diversified portfolio of amine- based curing components for the professional and application-oriented processing of epoxy resins. BASF’s Baxxodur products are featured in many applications as highly efficient curing agents in various coating applications and sealing compounds, for the wind energy, electrical industry as well as in composites, adhesives and flooring.

Olin Enters into Agreement with ASHTA to Purchase and Sell Chlorine

CLAYTON, Mo., July 1, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — Olin Corporation (OLN) announced today it has entered into an agreement with ASHTA Chemicals, Inc. to purchase and sell the chlorine produced at ASHTA’s Ashtabula, OH facility. Existing contracts will be honored for chlorine customers of both companies.
“This agreement provides the opportunity to optimize logistics across the Olin and ASHTA portfolio, reducing the number of miles chlorine travels to get to customers and overall transportation costs while increasing the security and flexibility of supply within the growing Olin network.
